- 6 large peppers
- 1/2 c. brown rice
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1 can tomato soup, undiluted
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. bran
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- catsup
Directions

1Cook rice according to package directions.

2Core peppers; cut in halves and remove seed.

3Cook in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain.

4Brown beef and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

5Combine rice and beef.

6Add bran, wheat germ, soup and oregano.

7Place peppers in large baking dish.

8Place some of the meat mixture in each pepper half.

9Top each with a dab of catsup.

10Put 1/2-inch water in bottom of baking dish.

11Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
