- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 can (7-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1/3 c. long grain rice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

1Halve peppers lengthwise, removing stem ends, seeds and membranes. Immerse peppers into boiling water for 3 minutes. Sprinkle inside of pepper with salt. Invert on paper towels to drain.
