- 3 ripe yellow plantains, unpeeled

- 2 tsp. dried oregano leaves

- 1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
- 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06

1Heat oven to 375F.

2Place plantains in 13x9-inch baking dish.

3Bake 20 min.

4Cool.

5Cut plantains lengthwise in half.

6Starting at one end of each, slide thumb between peel and plantain, then gently lift plantain to loosen from peel.

7(Do not remove plantains from peels.)

8Return plantain halves, cut-sides up, to baking dish.

9Meanwhile, cook onions and garlic in dressing in large saucepan on medium-high heat 3 min.

10Add meat and oregano; cook 10 min.

11or until meat is done, stirring frequently.

12Add tomatoes and 3/4 cup cheese; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.

13or until mixture is heated through and cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.

14Spoon over plantains.

15Top with bacon and remaining cheese.
