Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 box jumbo shells, cooked
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Directions

    For stuffing, mix well the Mozzarella cheese, Ricotta cheese and parsley.

    Brown ground beef and garlic, then add tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano; simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

    Stuff shells, pour sauce over and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.

    Makes 30 shells.
