Stuffed Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw jumbo shrimp
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. bread crumbs or 2 slices bread
  • 1 lb. crabmeat, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. mustard

    Clean and devein shrimp; slit down side of shrimp 3/4 way through, spread out butterfly fashion. Saute onion in small amount butter. Combine bread crumbs, crabmeat, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and sauteed onion. Mix.

    Divide stuffing among shrimp; fold.

    Place stuffing side down on greased baking dish. Brush with remaining butter. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 2 to 3.
