Stuffed Spider Crab

  • 21 1/8 cups water
  • salt
  • 1 crab
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/2 onion
  • white wine

Directions

    Bring 5 liters of salted water to a rolling boil in a large pot. Add the crab and some Old Bay seasoning.

    Cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the water and allow to cool.

    Open the crab and remove the meat. Set the legs aside to remove the meat. Clean all meat from the body. Add all meat to a bowl. Reserve the shell.

    Add the onion and a splash of white wine. Mix well and add the mixture to the crab shell. Serve with toasted bread as an accompaniment.
