- 2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 to 4 c. half and half
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- parsley flakes or chopped chives (for garnish)
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Add soup, half and half and thawed potatoes.

3Stir in cheese and heat gently.
