Stuffed Squash

  • 1 doz. yellow, long neck squash
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 or 2 raw tomatoes
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 small chopped green pepper
  • a few sprigs of parsley, chopped
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar

    Halve

    each squash and hollow out the centers.

    Mix well, then stuff the squash with the mixture.

    Place 1 layer into a baking dish and pour

    a portion of the sour cream, which has been diluted with the milk, over the first layer.
