  • 3 cups rice
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric, or
  • 1 teaspoon coriander, or
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 3 cups chicken stock

Directions

    In pot, fry rice in butter / oil for 1 - 2 minutes.

    Pour stock into pot, covering rice. Add salt and turmeric or coriander or cardamom.

    Cover and cook until water evaporated.
