  • 1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

    Mix dry ingredients together; add to first mixture.

    Chill dough.

    Roll out on 10x sugar.

    Bake at 400° for 6 minutes.

    Use an ungreased cookie sheet.
