  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 c. margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 c. flour (self-rising)

Directions

    Cream sugar, margarine and eggs together.

    Add lemon juice and vanilla.

    Stir in flour 1 cup at a time.

    Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.

    Remove from refrigerator and roll dough out on floured surface to 1/4-inch thick.

    Cut cookies with desired shaped cookie cutters.

    Brush top of cookies with milk, then add colored sugar. Bake at 350° until done, about 10 to 12 minutes.
