  • 2 c. butter
  • 3 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 c. flour, sifted
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well.

    Add vanilla and almond extract.

    Mix together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Add flour mixture to butter mixture; mix well. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.

    Roll out cookies (using more flour, if needed) and cut out with cookie cutters. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
