  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream margarine, oil and sugar.

    Add eggs.
  3. 3
    Sift flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.

    Stir into creamed mixture.

    Add vanilla and mix well.

    Place small balls of dough on greased cookie sheet.

    Flatten with small glass dipped in sugar.

    Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
