- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Bring fruits and water to a boil.

2Add butter and boil for 5 minutes.

3Set aside to cool.

4Add remaining ingredients to mixture.

5Bake in 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan that has been greased.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

7Cool and cut in squares.
