- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- salt
Directions

1Combine peanuts, sugar and water in heavy saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat until mixture crystallizes and coats the peanuts (about 10 to 15 minutes).

3Remove from heat and spread onto 2 large greased cookie sheets.

4Sprinkle with salt.

5Bake for 15 minutes at 300°.

6Stir and bake for 15 minutes more.

7Cool and break apart.

8Makes about 4 cups.
