- 1 whole Egg White
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cardamom
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 pound Pecan Halves, Or Any Nut, Frozen
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300F.

2Beat egg white with water until frothy.

3Thoroughly mix in sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt.

4Add pecans (or almonds, or walnuts, etc.)

5and stir all together until evenly coated.

6In a jelly roll pan, spread nuts in an even layer.

7Bake for 30 minutes, stirring and scraping with a spatula every 10 minutes.

8Keep an eagle eye on the nuts during the last 10 minutes of baking.

9Your goal is dryness and a lightly toasted nut.

10Burned nuts are not good!

11Remove to a plate and allow to cool completely before storing.
