- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light.

2Beat in egg, vanilla and salt.

3Gradually stir in flour.

4Shape dough into 2 rolls, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 inches long.

5Roll each in 1/4 cup of the pecans to coat outside.

6Wrap in waxed paper; chill thoroughly.
