- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. pecan halves
Directions

1Toast pecans 10 minutes at 300°.

2Combine all ingredients except nuts and vanilla.

3Cook until syrup spins a small thread, about 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat; add nuts and vanilla.

5Stir quickly until syrup crystallizes.

6Pour onto buttered platter. Rapidly, but gently, separate nuts.
