- 2 qt. shelled pecan halves
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 to 4 tsp. vanilla
- salt
Directions

1Combine sugar and milk; stir and cook until mixture threads. Pour 3 to 4 teaspoons vanilla over pecans in a pan; sprinkle with salt.

2Let vanilla soak in while syrup cooks.

3Pour syrup over pecans and stir to coat.

4After cool, break up into individual pecans.

5These turn very white as they dry.
