Sugared Pecans

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. pecans

Directions

    Beat egg whites until foamy; add sugar gradually until stiff peaks form.

    Fold in pecan halves.

    Melt margarine in 15 x 10-inch pan.

    Pour pecans in pan and bake 20 minutes at 300°.

    Stir every 10 minutes.

    Cool and store in container.
