  • 6 or 7 apples
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 2 unbaked pie shells

Directions

    Peel and slice apples. Place in pie shell. Combine apple juice, cornstarch and spices in a microwavable dish. Cook in microwave on High for 3 minutes. Pour mixture over apples. Add the second pie crust to top of pie. Make 2 or 3 vents in top crust to let steam escape. Cook at 400° for 45 minutes to an hour or until golden brown.
