  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. dates, chopped
  • 1 c. apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 packets Equal or 3 tsp. Sweet*10
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Cook raisins, dates and apples in 1 cup water for 3 minutes. Stir in butter or margarine and cool.

    Add sweetener, beaten eggs, vanilla, flour and baking soda.

    Stir well.

    Add nuts.

    Bake in a greased 9 x 9-inch pan at 350° for 25 minutes.
