  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. allspice
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
  • 2 c. persimmon puree
  • 2 c. raisins or 1 c. raisins and 1 c. chopped dates
  • 2 c. chopped nuts

    Sift dry ingredients.

    Beat Crisco, sweetener and eggs together well.

    Add to dry ingredients and mix well.

    Stir in puree, nuts and raisins.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in 325° oven for 1 hour.
