Ingredients
- 1 lb. sirloin
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 c. beef broth or 1 cube in 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 8 green onions, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 stalks celery, diagonally sliced
- 1 (5 oz.) can bamboo shoots, drained
- 3 c. washed, trimmed spinach
- 3 c. hot cooked rice
Directions

1Cut meat across grain into 1/4-inch strips, 2-inches long. Brown in oil and push aside.

2Stir in soy sauce, broth and sugar. Place mushrooms, onions, celery and shoots in separate sections of skillet.

3Do not mix.

4Cover, simmer 10 minutes.

5Add spinach, simmer 5 minutes longer.

6Serve over rice.

7Pass additional soy sauce.
