- 3/4 lb. round steak, cut into strips
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1/2 lb. bean sprouts
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. celery, sliced
- 1 small bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. bouillon
Directions

1Preheat browning skillet 4 minutes in microwave oven.

2Melt shortening in skillet.

3Brown meat strips.

4Arrange meat in center; put sliced vegetables around the outside of meat strips. Combine sugar, soy sauce and bouillon and pour over meat and vegetables.

5Cook on High 6 to 8 minutes.

6Vegetables will be tender, but crisp.

7Serve with rice.
