- 1 12 lbs beef (I use sirloin steaks)
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 12 cup beef broth
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 cup soy sauce
- 10 green onions, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 12 cups celery, sliced
- 8 ounces bamboo shoots
- 3 cups rice, cooked
Directions

1Reduce beef stock by half while preparing meat and vegetables.

2Pound the beef to tenderize, then cut into strips about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.

3In a large skillet or wok, brown meat in oil.

4Add sugar and soy sauce to reduced beef broth.

5Pour into skillet or wok over browned meat.

6Push meat aside and add vegetables.

7Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

8Serve with rice.
