- 2 yellow crookneck squash (2-1/2 inch diameter)
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash, dry and remove ends.

2Split in half length ways.

3Place in shallow microwaveable dish.

4Make several slits in cut side of squash, spread margarine on and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on high power for 3 minutes.

5Should be tender enough for fork to pierce easily.

6More cooking time may be required. Recheck for tenderness after 1 minute.
