  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple - cut up
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

    Preheat Oven 350 degrees:

    In a mix-master combine the butter and white sugar and mix until smooth.

    In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, vanilla, sour cream and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and beat with a fork. Add this to the mix- master and mix.

    In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add this to the mix-master while on low.

    In a small bowl combine the pineapple and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and stir.

    Prepare a bunt pan with butter; (don't forget to butter the middle piece of the pan) and place the prepared pineapple along the bottom.

    Pour the batter into the pan.

    Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
