  • 3 lb. lean ground beef
  • 3 tsp. Morton Tender Quick salt (heaping)
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 9 drops liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

Directions

    Mix together in a large mixing bowl and cover; refrigerate. Mix every day for 6 days.

    Form into sausage-type rolls and bake on a broiling pan for 3 1/2 hours at 180°.
