Summer Squash

  • 2 or 3 medium summer squash, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 to 12 strips bacon, cut up
  • flour
  • seasoned salt and pepper

Directions

    Brown bacon, remove all but 1 tablespoon fat.

    Saute onion. Place flour, salt and pepper in a sack.

    Add squash and shake well until coated.

    Then put squash in a greased casserole.

    Add soup to bacon and onions and pour over squash.

    Bake, covered, at 325° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
