  • 1 lb. yellow squash
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • American cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3/4 c. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

Directions

    Boil squash and onion; drain and mash.

    Add butter.

    Beat milk, egg, salt and pepper, then add to squash mixture.

    In 9 x 9-inch pan layer squash, dressing crumbs and American cheese; repeat and top with cheese.

    Sprinkle dressing crumbs on top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
