Sunday Ham Barbecue

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chopped or boiled ham, sliced very thin or chopped
  • 1 c. finely cut celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 c. water
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Brown meat in small amount of margarine.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least 1/2 hour with lid on.

    Remove lid and simmer until liquid is thickened.

    Serve in hamburger buns. May be made ahead and stored in refrigerator.

    Also may be frozen.
