- 2 to 3 well rounded Tbsp. shortening
- 3/4 c. fresh buttermilk
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour.

2Add milk gradually to make a soft dough.

3Turn out on floured board and knead lightly, about 30 seconds.

4Roll 1/3-inch thick.

5Cut with biscuit cutter.

6Bake on greased biscuit pan at 450° for about 10 minutes.
