Super Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans lima butter beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. catsup
  • 3 Tbsp. molasses
  • 3 strips bacon (on top)

Directions

    Drain all beans, except 1 can of pork and beans.

    Empty all beans into a 2-quart casserole.

    Mix remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.

    Stir again and pour over beans.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 350° for 2 hours or at 300° for 4 hours.

    Put bacon strips on top and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes.
