Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Combine vinegar, water, sugar, mustard, pepper, salt, cayenne, lemon juice, onion and butter.

    Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
