  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion

Directions

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Cook and stir ground beef in skillet until brown; drain.

    Stir in tomato sauce, green pepper, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper and parsley flakes.

    Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.

    Pour into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Beat eggs, milk, oil, 1 cup flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt; pour over cheese.

    Sprinkle with onion.

    Bake until puffy and golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
