Ingredients

  • 4 c. peeled ripe tomatoes
  • 1 c. green peppers, chopped (optional)
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • hot peppers to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic, chopped or garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • tomato paste to thicken

Directions

    Put tomatoes in blender with hot peppers.

    Blend well.

    Stir in other ingredients and blend well together.

    This will keep in refrigerator 1 to 2 weeks.

    Or put in jars, seal and process. Pints or smaller jars for 15 minutes.

    Quart jars for 25 minutes.
