  • 3/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • pinch of salt
  • sliced apples
  • nutmeg
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Fill an 8-inch pie plate 3/4 full with peeled, sliced apples. Sprinkle 1/2 nutmeg and 1/2 cinnamon.

    In a small bowl combine butter, sugar, flour, egg, chopped nuts and salt.

    Spread over peeled apples.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until crust is golden brown.
