- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients as for pie crust.

2Pat on a cookie sheet in two long strips about 3-inches wide.

3Place the 1 cup water and butter in a pan and heat to boiling.

4Remove from heat and add the 1 cup flour and then the eggs, beating after each addition.

5Add the almond flavoring.

6Spread lightly on top of the pie crust mixture.

7Bake 1 hour at 350°.

8When cool, frost with Buttercream Frosting.

9One recipe of frosting is enough for 3 or 4 recipes of Kringle.
