- 1 2/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. sweet butter
- 1 egg
- raspberry jam
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. sweet butter
- 1 c. finely ground blanched almonds
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Butter an 8-inch cake pan.

3Sift flour and baking powder.

4Add egg and butter; mix and work dough until smooth.

5Line pan with dough.

6Spread with a thin layer of jam. In medium size bowl, knead butter, sugar and almonds into a smooth paste.

7Add eggs, one at a time and blend thoroughly.

8Put on top of jam.

9Bake for about 40 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
