  • 2 egg whites
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Beat egg whites and gradually add sugar.

    Beat well; add nuts and vanilla.

    Melt butter in pan and add nut mixture.

    Spread in one layer on a cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
