  • 1` (6 to 8 lb.) brisket
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 medium size onions, sliced
  • 1 small (12 oz.) jar apricot preserves
  • 1 (14 oz.) bottle catsup

Directions

    Season brisket to taste with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place sliced onions on bottom of roaster.

    Put in brisket.

    Mix preserves and catsup; pour over brisket.

    Bake, covered, for 4 hours at 350° or until tender.

    Makes about 24 servings.
