- 4 c. sugar
- 3 c. water
- 4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. mixed spices

1Cut pickles into chunks; put into weak brine overnight.

2In the morning, boil remaining sugar and water until mixture strings. Heat vinegar and mixed spices.

3Put boiling sugar into hot vinegar, then place pickles into this (mixed hot vinegar and sugar).

5Do not cook or boil pickles.
