  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury All Ready pie crusts
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Directions

    Prepare pie crust sheet according to package directions for a filled one-crust pie, using a 9-inch pie plate.

    (Refrigerate remaining crust for later use.)

    Bake at 450° for 9 to 11 minutes, or until lightly browned.

    (If crust puffs up, gently press back to bottom and sides of pan with the back of a wooden spoon.)
