  • 1 c. chopped Vidalia onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped yellow squash
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. bacon bits
  • 1 c. American processed cheese spread, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, cut into bits
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except rolls.

    On a lightly floured board, separate each can of rolls into 4 rectangles each, making a total of 8.

    Press perforated edges together.

    Place approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons of onion mixture over half of each roll.

    Fold edges together; press with a fork.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serves 8.
