Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 6 to 7 c. flour

Directions

    Cream the shortening and sugar.

    Add salt, eggs and vanilla. Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add to the first mixture.

    Beat and stir in flour.

    Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.

    Punch down and roll into a rectangle.

    Spread with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Roll up and cut into pan rolls or shape into circle and snip for T-ring.

    Let rise and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
