Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • mini marshmallows

Directions

    Scrub potatoes.

    Pare and cut in thick slices.

    Boil in enough water to cover until not quite tender.

    Drain and arrange in a buttered baking dish.

    Melt butter and brown sugar together.

    Pour over potatoes.

    Cover and bake at 400° until potatoes are brown and syrup is thickened, about 30 to 45 minutes.

    Remove cover last half of baking.

    Cover with mini marshmallows last 5 minutes.
