  • 1-1/4 cup Milk
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1-1/4 cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt

Directions

    Heat oven to 350 F. Grease the bottom and sides of your pan. I used an 8x8 inch pan.

    Mix milk, butter and egg in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened (batter will be lumpy). Pour batter into pan.

    Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
