- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 5 or 6 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Pour simmering water over sugar, margarine and salt.

2Stir; cool slightly and add yeast, eggs and flour in that order.

3Let rise in a bowl until doubled in size.

4Beat down and spoon bread dough into greased pans (two loaf pans or 1 tube pan).

5Let rise until 1 inch from top of pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour for tube pan or 35 minutes for loaf pans.
