- 85 g butter
- 85 g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 140 g self-raising flour
- 1 pinch salt
- food coloring
Directions

1Pre-heat oven to 180c/gas 6.

2Put 12 paper cases in a baking tray.

3Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

4Add the egg and mix in well.

5Fold in the flour and salt with a spoon.

6Add vanilla essence.

7Add a few drops of food colouring and swirl round with a knife.

8Spoon mixture into paper cases and bake for 15 mins Ice if you want to, using icing sugar and lemon juice.

9Sprinkle with 100s and 1000s.
